Suitable for LED lighting applications, high power factor constant current output flyback
This paper shows that the flyback topology, principle of high power factor input and the AC/DC converter with constant current output. Therefore, the most commonly used mode is a critical conduction mode (BCM). This paper describes the basic principle of the mode, and expounds its disadvantages. Introduces and illustrates a simple method for improving the power factor. In DCM mode can improve the power factor and total harmonic distortion, and reduce the peak drain voltage. Rapid design examples, and expounds the special problem of driving high power LED.
Electromagnetic interference in power supply (EMI)
The switching speed of power density, increasing faster and higher current forced the designers have to spend more time to consider the effect of electromagnetic interference (EMI), and debug other perfect design but there is EMI problem.
